ASHBURNHAM TOWN HALL
Located in a National Historic Register District, the distinguished Fairbanks Memorial Town Hall was understandably cherished by the community. However, in the absence of any major capital expenditures in one hundred years, the building had fallen into disrepair and did not meet the space needs of modern town offices. After completion of a study, funding for major renovations was approved at Town Meeting. Considerable care was taken to preserve the second floor meeting hall and existing architectural features throughout the building.
