Hallway of the Emerson School

The Town of Bolton was in desperate need for additional classroom space. They opted to completely renovate the 1972 wing of an old school building. The scope of renovation work included complete demolition and re-building of the interior to create 10 new classrooms, a media center, and a special needs classroom. All new plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, as well as re-roofing, new windows and skylights, and new gymnasium flooring were also included. Subject to an accelerated schedule, this design-build project required close coordination and teamwork with the Town, which acted as the general contractor.
